At the Geeh the Band, we’re always trying to help you get creative ideas to spend time with your children. One way to demonstrate healthy habits is by exercise! Just as exercise is important for you, it’s just as important for your children.

One way to get the kids away from the video games and iPads is to dance! We suggest creating a playlist with fast-paced music and have ‘dance time’ incorporated into your children’s schedules. Encourage dancing, jumping, spinning, twisting, wiggling and balancing.

This is also a perfect time to allow your children to come out of their shell. The daily world can be very stressful, even for kids, and it’s important to let them know they can be themselves anywhere.

Movement also releases stress from school and gets your kids smiling and laughing. And we’re not just talking about the kids! Mom and dad, jump in there too. We know you need some stress free time. Get the whole family together for a dance party!
